Hallgarten & Novum Wines has hired Colin Cameron in the newly created role of head of marketing.
Taking on his new position with immediate effect, Cameron’s previous roles include head of marketing at William Grant & Sons and as director of commercial planning & activation at Enotria.
In addition, he has held positions with Justerini & Brooks, Percy Fox and Pernod Ricard, and global marketing roles at Diageo.
Wine brands he has worked with include Champagne Pommery and Marques De Riscal, as well as global spirit brands including Johnnie Walker, Glenfiddich, Baileys and Hendrick’s.
Cameron brought with him a “wealth of experience” in the premium wine industry and a “real understanding of the business of our core premium on-trade and independent retail customers”, said Hallgarten managing director Andrew Bewes.
“Colin is joining Hallgarten at a key time for the business and the industry; his appointment reflects our determination to further enhance the services and support we offer our customers.”
Cameron said he was “delighted to be joining such a well-respected and established business”.
“The strength of customer relationships and the collaborative partnerships with brand owners are both a passion of mine and I know this is shared with the team at Hallgarten,” he said.
