Vranken Pommery Monopole group, known in the UK for Grande Marque Champagne brands such as Pommery, is extending its rosé offering from estates in both Provence and the Camargue.

They are now launching their Listel Provence rosé range into the UK, including Listel Grain de Gris which is the best selling French rosé wine in France, according to the brand.

Part of the range has been re-developed for the UK market with Listel Sparkling Apple and Listel Sparkling Raspberry launching this month in Sainsbury's.

Following the success of fruit-flavoured sparkling wines in the UK, Listel is aiming to bring a premium, natural, low-alcohol product to the consumer market with an eye on millennials.

Their USP, they say, is offering a "completely natural" alternative to the fruit wine market.

"The launch of Listel Sparkling Fruits into the UK is at an exciting time for wine based fruit flavoured drinks, whose popularity show no sign of abating. They help draw a new consumer into the wine category - and Listel being naturally flavoured, with no preservatives or added sugar, offers the consumer a high quality product at a lower alcohol level. Listel has been producing this for over a decade for the French market so this is a natural extension for us," said Nick Hyde, CEO of Vranken Pommery UK.

Listel Grain de Gris together with its sister brand, Billette, are soon to be launched into the UK market joining others from their Pommery rosé range already on shelves.

They are also launching Domaine Royal de Jarras' Pink Flamingo from the lesser-known Carmague.

Speaking of its growth as a region, Hyde said: "The growth of Provence rosé has been an international phenomenon and I've no doubt that, in due course, this will be followed by the wines of the Camargue. As the leading premium rosé producer in both of these regions Vranken Pommery is ideally placed to provide the wines that customers need to meet this demand."

Vranken Estates' Rosés are available for the on-trade from wholesalers including Justerini & Brooks and Matthew Clark and for consumers from Ocado.
