The French Wine Discoveries tasting returns to London for its 14th year later this month.
Some 120 importers and producers, many of them new to the UK market, will gather at the event, which attracted some 500 key buyers from the trade last year.
This year will again feature a free-tasting area, where visitors can taste the "best bottle" from each producer, and a Champagne bar featuring all 12 Champagne producers present at the event.
The tasting will also have a special focus on wines from the Loire, with nearly 30 producers from the region present.
Organiser Anne-Catherine Vigouroux said: "French wines needs to be 're-discovered'. We have been losing our leadership in UK since New World wine started to enter the market.
"The elder consumer, 40 and over, has a long familiarity with French wines. But the new and young consumers who arrive on the market of wine do not.
"In a world open to new discoveries, wines from the Jura, Savoie or Languedoc may appear just as new as Semillon from the Hunter Valley.
"Our show focus on producers from other, less well-known regions and smaller producers who are also our major exhibitors, most of them not being yet on the UK market."
The growing success of French Wine Discoveries means that it is likely to expand across two days next year.
