Peter McCombie MW joins C&C Wines as portfolio ambassador

C&C Wines has welcomed Peter McCombie MW to its fold as a part-time portfolio ambassador.

Taking on his new role with immediate effect, McCombie’s responsibilities include supporting C&C Wines’ buying strategy as well as providing masterclasses and sales training to staff and customers alike.

McCombie was a “perfect fit” for C&C Wines, said director Jonathan Carson.

“Considering the sheer number of wines that Peter tastes, we are thrilled that he has been so complimentary about our portfolio and we look forward to his support in raising the awareness of many of these outstanding wineries.”

McCombie said he was looking forward to working with the team at C&C to offer the UK trade some “truly excellent wines, particularly from Italy”.

“I have always enjoyed the challenge of balancing the rigorous selection of wines for quality and character with the realities of needing to sell wines to real people at realistic prices,” he added.

A joint venture between family-owned Carson Wines and C Carnevale, C&C Wines’ portfolio comprises of both Carson Wines agency brands and C&C Wines named distributor brands.
