Top English sparkling wine producer Nyetimber is commemorating with the big 3-0 with a new look for some of its products, including its classic cuvee.
The new label, which will appear on selected products, features a shield design with coloured accents.
The shield motif aims to “symbolise its dedication to craftsmanship, relentless attention to detail and pioneering spirit” of the West Sussex producer, representatives said today.
This year, the estate celebrates its 30rth birthday, making it one of the oldest in the area and the first to exclusively grow the three Champagne grapes for English sparkling production: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.
It has established a reputation at the top of the sparkling tree, garnering praise for wines from its Tillington single vineyard.
The wines from this 32 ha plot is released in exceptional years, the most recent being 2013.
It was released following May’s London wine Fair, acting as a follow-up to the 2010 vintage release.
