Jascots strengthens team with former Enotria & Coe director

Jascots Wine Merchants has appointed Kent Barker as its new head of business development.

Barker, former Enotria & Coe UK director of sales and Borough Wines commercial director, takes up his new position with immediate effect.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in on-trade wine sales and business development, Kent would play an integral role in growing Jascots’ business with restaurants, hotels and caterers in London and throughout the UK, said managing partner, Miles MacInnes.

“We’re delighted that Kent is joining our team, he is an energetic, bright and collaborative leader who believes, as we do, in teamwork, partnership and putting the customer first,” he said, adding the knowledge and experience that Barker brought would be “extremely valuable to our talented team and our customers as we continue to grow”.

The appointment follows long-time employees Miles MacInnes and John Charnock becoming managing partners of Jascots after acquiring a controlling stake in the company from founder Jack Scott in April last year.
