Champagne Montaudon launches new vintage at LIWF

Published:  18 January, 2007

Champagne Montaudon will launch their new vintage, the Brut Millsime 2000 at the London Wine Fair 2008.

Champagne Montaudon is well known as one of the last of the great family owned champagne houses. The original 17th Century press house on the Montaudon estate is still in use today, guaranteeing that each grape pressed comes with a personal guarantee from

picking to production.

Combining ancient tradition with modern production techniques is an important part of the development of the brand, and to this end Champagne Montaudon has also recently completed a state of the art production facility, ensuring that the Montaudon ranges continue to hold their own in an increasingly competitive market.

Champagne Montuadon's Brut Millesime 2000 (53%Chardonnay 47% Pinot Noir) : "A sumptuous pale gold colour with a smooth and long lasting mousse. Subtle personality with pear and peach notes. Very expressive nose with elements of hot brioche, bread and candied fruit. An extremely rich wine, with a long finish, emphasising its character."
