Specialist Australian wine importer Aussie Rules is adding Margaret River producer Domaine Naturaliste to its portfolio.
The producer won Margaret River regional trophies at this year's International Wine Challenge for its Artus 2013 Chardonnay and Sauvage Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon from the same vintage.
Aussie Rules will be importing both along with other wines from all three of Domaine Naturaliste's price tiers.
Sauvage is in the mid-tier Direction series with an rrp of £21.99. Aussie Rules is taking the other two wines at this price point: Floris Chardonnay and Rebus Cabernet Sauvignon.
Artus is in the upper-tier Flagship series and has an rrp of £39.99. Other wines in this tier are Purus Chardonnay (£29.99) and Morus Cabernet (£49.99).
Aussie Rules is also shipping one wine from the lower-tier Discovery series, a Syrah at £16.99.
Aussie Rules founder Lee Barrie said: "Having won two trophies at the 2015 IWC, the UK trade will be keen to learn more about the outstanding quality of these wines."
Winemaker Bruce Dukes (pictured) added: "Aussie Rules was able to match our vision for Domaine Naturaliste in the UK.
"We look forward to working with Lee to bring our range of wines to the UK market and continue building the premium Australian category."
The wines will be available to independent retailers and regional wholesalers from September.
They join an Aussie Rules portfolio that includes Vinaceous, Leconfield, Richard Hamilton, Riposte by Tim Knappstein, Claymore, Dexter and Rob Dolan.
