Champagne Jacquart doubles marketing in UK to boost on-trade visibility

Champagne Jacquart had doubled its marketing spend in the UK as after launching a new marketing campaign targeting consumers in London.

Last year the champagne brands launched its first piece of marketing in the UK, which it said had had a "massive impact".

The new campaign see 85 black cabs decked out the champagne house's branding, along with digital displays on the top black cabs in London.

Champagne Jacquart's managing director Laurent Reinteau said the investment reflected the importance of the UK market for the brand.

"The 2015 campaign, which sees a doubling of our investment, maximises the brand's visibility," he said. "2014 was a pivotal year during which we secured a significant number of key listings - this additional campaign supports our growing position in the market by building consumer awareness and pull-through.'

 The company is also sponsoring Clerkenwell Design Week, which takes place from 19th to 21st May, and comprises a Champagne Jacquart Champagne Bar in the event's Secret Garden.

The company is part of the Alliance Champagne Union de Cooperative Agricoles.
