On-trade supplier Jascots Wine Merchants has launched its own Champagne brand.
It has created Rimbaud in partnership with Champagne Volleraux and production is limited to 40,000 bottles.
It has been made only with free run juice, with equal proportions of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes.
The non-vintage Champagne is a blend of the three latest vintages and has 24 months lees ageing, nine months longer than the minimum requirement. It then has a further three months bottle ageing.
The Champagne is exclusive to the on-trade with an ex-VAT bottle price of £20.59.
