VIA Wines appoints Ehrmanns
Chile winery VIA Wines has appointed Ehrmanns to distribute its Chilensis brand.
Ehrmanns will take over responsibility for handling on and off-trade sales within the UK and Channel Islands with immediate effect.
VIA Wines is based in the Maule region of the South American country which takes its name from the Maule River, which runs west from the Andes.
The Chilensis range is sourced from VIA's own vineyards in the Casablanca Valley, Colchagua, Curicó and Maule Valleys.
Hugo Campbell, Managing Director of Ehrmanns, said: "we are delighted to be appointed by VIA to handle Chilensis wines in the UK.
"Chilensis complements our existing South American portfolio and we are confident that we are well-placed to drive the brand forward."

"Their excellent team will work with us to establish strong listings and recognition for the brand in the UK."
Chilensis wines have an RRP of £5.99 to £7.99 and will be targeted at all sectors of the trade.
