Palandri appoints Russian agent

Margaret River-based producer Palandri Wines has appointed Svargo JSC as its agent for the Russian Federation.
Palandri MD Gordon Grant said that under the new arrangement, the company plans to export more than 16,000 cases of wine in its first trading year, targeted at both the on- and off-trade.
He added: "Svarog JSC is one of Russia's leading wine importers, with an excellent national distribution network.
"Given the complexities of the Russian market, we see the opportunity to build distribution with such a well-respected distributor a great opportunity for Palandri wines."
