A new web-based TV channel devoted to single malt whisky is set to launch today: www.singlemalt.tv
The channel, which is the brainchild of Australian cinematographer Rob Draper, costs 12.50 a year to view, is broadcast in high-definition, and will run 24 hours a day.
Whisky writer Charles MacLean told Harpers that its purpose is education, information, and fun', and that despite its name, it would also include blended whiskies and whiskies from outside Scotland.
