Beefsteak Club back on the buses

Published:  20 May, 2019

Beefsteak Club has brought back its ads on London Routemaster buses to coincide with the London Wine Fair and London Wine Week.

Beefsteak Club, which is owned by Ehrmanns, first used ads on the bright red buses in September 2018. It said it had decided to renew the ads after “significantly widening distribution for the brand” over the last six months, including new listings in Sainsbury’s and Morrisons, and signing a deal with P&O cruises to sell its white partner Tuna Club.

“We are gradually building up a loyal consumer base for the Beefsteak Club, and it’s vital that we continue to invest in our consumer and out-of-home campaigns to keep the brand as visible as possible,” said Ehrmanns director Hugo Campbell

The transport campaign, which has an estimated reach of 2.48 million people, will also feature a social media competition, where the public can win a bottle of Beefsteak Club by photographing the bus and posting an image to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #Raisethesteaks.

Beefsteak Club is now exported to 30 counties, including the Middle East (Bahrain, UAE) and Asia (Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam). It will also head to the US for the first time this summer.
