Armit Wines has announced three new hires to its sales and marketing teams.
Giusy Andreachio will be returning to Armit's London on-trade team on a part time basis from the end of January, where she will continue to work closely with the Italian side of the portfolio.
Andreachio left Armit to join C&C wines 18 months ago. Her job title on returning to Armit will be Italian Ambassador. Her key focus will be on the London on-trade, particularly Italian restaurants, and working with key Italian agencies. She will also continue to educate about wine and run masterclasses.
Catia Santolin will also be joining the London on-trade team from Field, Morris & Verdin with a key focus on new business development in London. Previously, Santolin was in sales support at FMV and will be joining Armit as a London on-trade sales rep.
Alex Hill starts with the Armit marketing team this week as a brand manager, following a spell as junior brand manager at Liberty.
All the new appointments are for newly created positions.
“We are delighted to start the year by welcoming three new members of staff, including the return of a familiar face,” said Kirsten Kilby, managing director of Armit Wines. “Giusy was a joy to work with and it is great to have her back. We are committed to building and strengthening our team in line with our continued growth as a business and I am very excited to see what 2019 will bring.”
The news follows two other key appointments made by Armit in October 2018.
Susan Harper joined the business as sales & marketing manager while Nicolas Clers MS was appointed to a key account & brand manager role.
Harper had been sales & marketing director at Bancroft Wines. She previously held director level positions at Hallgarten Druit and Swig Wines.
Clerc MS, who is a member at the Court of master Sommelier Europe and the president of the sommelier arm of the Academy of Food and Wine Service in the UK, joined Armit from Berry Bros & Rudd, where he was prestige account manager for Fields, Morris & Verdin.
