The Rib Room will relaunch in October following a major refurbishment programme and with a new head chef and sommelier at the helm.

Located in the five-star Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London's Knightsbridge, the interior redesign by Martin Brudnizki and the arrival of head chef Ian Rudge, formerly of the Michelin-starred Northcote Manor, will complete the renovations.

A new cocktail bar will be added to the venue, alongside two private dining rooms with capacity for 18 covers, one complete with a cigar terrace. In total, there will be 132 dining covers plus a further 50 in the bar.

Supporting the restaurant's contemporary approach, the wine list will be presented to diners via iPads, with tasting notes by the Rib Room's new sommelier Louise Gordon. Guests can filter the list by price, region, country, grape variety and style, before linking through to more information on each wine.

Michele Caggianese, restaurant and bar manager at the Rib Room said: "With 50 years of exceptional fine dining and world-class service in our wake, we are committed to showing our guests why we deserve our place in gastronomic history".
