Malibu kicks of summer campaign with limited edition bottle

Malibu has launched a colourful limited edition bottle in collaboration with up-and-coming designer Nikki Farquharson.

Malibu, has launched a colourful limited edition bottle in collaboration with up-and-coming designer Nikki Farquharson.

The launch of the limited edition summer bottle is key to Malibu's summer campaign, which kicks off in April and will include national TV advertising activity, a brand-new consumer experiential concept and investment behind social media to ensure the brand reaches its target audience.

Cited as one of the "top 10 new stars of design", Farquharson was inspired by the carnival spirit of Malibu's Caribbean roots.

Patrick Venning, head of marketing for Malibu at Pernod Ricard UK, said: "By working with an inspirational artist such as Nikki, we have developed a unique proposition for retailers that delivers stand out on shelf and will drive sales in the run up to the key summer period.

"The eye-catching product has been designed to appeal to our target audience and to be at the heart of their social get-togethers."

Malibu Limited Edition Summer '11 will be available in UK multiple grocers from the end of April 2011.
