Bushmills launches 'Make it 2 Bushmills' competition

Bushmills master distiller ,Colum Egan, has launched a global competition - 'Make it 2 Bushmills' - that will see him take the distillery on tour.

Old Bushmills master distiller ,Colum Egan, has launched a global competition - 'Make it 2 Bushmills' - that will see him take the distillery on tour.

Egan is offering two friends who best represent the Bushmills spirit of friendship the chance to work alongside him for two weeks, to learn the trade before he goes on tour to the winners' home country.

The winners will have behind-the-scenes access to the distillery, £5,000 spending money, luxury penthouse accommodation and the chance to together make their own unique blend of the Irish whiskey.

Samantha Reader, Bushmills global brand director said: "We're really excited about the opportunities that Make it 2 Bushmills, as the successor to our 2010 'Make it at Bushmills' competition, will offer trade and consumers.

"Irish Whiskey is the fastest growing international spirits category and this is a great chance to make the most of that momentum and drive brand awareness."

The campaign, which will be supported by a range of POS materials, will give the trade great opportunities to drive footfall, conversations with consumers and of course sales.
