The Home Office has linked up with key trade bodies for a new alcohol conference "Is Big Society a partnership?" which aims to allow the industry to debate new legislation.
Participants will discuss the goals of the reformed licensing act and debate strategies for achieving these, giving the industry the chance to shape the debate on how new legislation will be implemented.
The delegation will also include key players from the police, health authorities, local government officials, senior drinks companies executives, night time economy managers, Quango leads and licensees.
The event, to be hosted at the QEII Conference Centre, Westminster on March 15 by the Home Office, the Association of Town Centre Managers (ATCM), Best Bar None (BBN), and the Wine and Spirits Trade Association (WSTA) is entitled, "Is Big Society a Partnership? Alcohol, Partnership and Evidence".
