Kyndal has signed a new contract with Maxxium UK, which extends distribution in the UK of its key brands, Whyte & Mackay Scotch and Vladivar vodka, for a further six years. Maxxium UK will continue to manage the sales and distribution for these brands. Claymore Scotch will be distributed directly by Kyndal from 1 February 2003 because it has a stronger strategic fit within the Kyndal portfolio than that of Maxxium. Kyndal chief executive, Brian Megson, said: Taking back control of Claymore makes commercial sense for us, we are committed to the future of this brand and will develop it within our own sales team.'
