IFE given facelift after 31 years

Published:  11 November, 2010

Organisers of the international food and drink event, the IFE have given the show's branding a facelift after 31 years.

Organisers of the International Food and Drink Event, IFE have given the show's branding a facelift after 31 years.

The aim is to give the exhibition a more contemporary image in order to attract a larger and more diverse audience.

The word 'international' is to be made much more prominent on the new logo and marketing material.

There is also a new rejuvenated website (www.ife.co.uk) that has just gone live.

Christopher McCuin, event director, said: "It symbolises a fresh new outlook for the event. The aim is to retain our image as the UK's leading food and drink trade show, but to remove some of the corporate edge that was associated with the previous branding. We want IFE to be an exhibition that sticks in people's minds as being the place to source 1,000s of new products from across the globe and we feel the re-branding helps us achieve this."

The IFE 2011 will take place at London's ExCeL from 13-16 March 2011.

Visitors can follow the event on twitter at www.twitter.com/IFEexhibition or join the show's group on LinkedIn at www.ife.co.uk/linkedin
