The Famous Grouse is launching a new campaign to find the finest pubs in the on-trade.
The Famous Grouse Famous 100 will call on landlords and pub goers from around the UK, and ask them to share what it is about their pub that makes it famous.
100 entries will be selected as part of a campaign backed by significant investment from Maxxium UK, and will feature in a special Sunday Telegraph supplement.
The campaign has been launched to say a big thank you to all the publicans who have helped achieve the brand's 30 year success with both publicans and the general public being invited to nominate.
All claims to fame will be considered whether it's a famous punter or landlord, a famous tradition or even connections to events of historical significance.
Linda Sooprayen, The Famous Grouse brand manager, Maxxium UK, said: "We have launched the Famous 100 to really pay tribute to the fantastic pubs we have in the UK. Publicans have long been supportive of our fame and we wanted to do something to celebrate theirs."
This activity follows the announcement of the new bottle re-pack and runs as part of an intensive year-long marketing campaign.
Closing date for nominations of the October 31 at www.telegraph.co.uk/famousgrouse.
