Supper club launches pop up restaurant

Published:  09 September, 2010

London's underground restaurant the Savoy Truffle Supperclub is launching a week-long pop up restaurant in October, to be held at a secret North London location.

The Savoy Truffle Supperclub will showcase a seasonal, five-course fine dining menu for the five-night stint between October 13-17, with ingredients coming from the chef's own organic allotment.

Tickets cost £65 per head and will include wine to accompany the meal and cocktails provided by Bombay Sapphire.

The experience will kick off with cocktails created by Bombay Sapphire's master mixologist Sam Carter. Guests will also be invited to create their own bespoke cocktails at the Bombay Sapphire Cocktail Kitchen.

The Savoy Truffle Supperclub was started by former Acorn House chef Gavin Billenness and his partner in early 2009 as a 15-cover restaurant in their living room in Blackheath, south-east London. It is now held monthly in either the chef's living room or at other quirky, underground venues, and the produce on the menu is always locally sourced, seasonal and sustainable.
