A Hertfordshire cocktail bar will feature this evening in a new TV series "The Business Inspector".
Sponsored by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), the programme is part of a series that will be broadcast weekly on Five and this week will feature St Albans' Mokoko Cocktail Bar on March 24, at 8pm.
The show is fronted by founder, chief executive and chairman of The Pall-Ex Group and entrepreneur Hilary Devey, who trouble-shoots small businesses and focusses on the need to keep good records.
Jass Patel, from the Mokoko Cocktail Bar, said: "Hilary is a tough cookie but really knows her stuff. Thanks to her we have now got renewed energy and clear direction for our business. Her advice on marketing and record keeping was invaluable".
Stephen Banyard, business customer unit director at HMRC, said: "Keeping good records makes good business sense as it gives small businesses the information they need to manage their business and help it grow. It also makes filling tax returns easier and helps SMEs pay the right amount of tax."
The series is produced by Optomen Television, makers of 'Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares' (C4) and 'Mary Queen of Shops' (BBC).
