Leading trade figures are appearing at next week's Champagne Summit, an event bringing together key players and buyers to look at maximising sales and profit from the category.
More than 100 of the UK's leading producers, buyers, agents, sommeliers and bartenders will gather at the Soho Hotel in London next Tuesday for a series of tastings, seminars, masterclasses and workshops at the inaugural event.
Among those who will be speaking include Xavier Rousset of DOEA Champagne Venue of the Year Texture, Dee Blackstock MW of Waitrose, Laura Jewell MW of Spar, Simon Baile of Oddbins and Eadoin O'Brien of the Harvey Nichols Champagne Bar.
The agenda for the day includes keynote on and off-trade panel debates, rosé tasting masterclasses with Richard Bampfield MW and on-trade workshops with Xavier Rousset and Coz Kampanaos, of Sommelier Cru.
