Wolfblass strikes cricket sponsorship deal

Australian wine brand Wolf Blass has struck a television sponsorship deal for the major cricket events of the summer.

The brand has announced that it will become a broadcast sponsor of Five TV's highlights package for all test match series and one day internationals from now until September.

 Five TV will air 45, 45-minute cricket highlight programmes, with Wolf Blass as a main sponsor.

The Yellow Label range of the brand will be at the forefront of the advertising.

Annabel Keech, Wolf Blass Senior Brand Manager, says: "The Wolf Blass brand has a long association with top sports and sporting events. The association with Five will build on the results of these alliances and take the Wolf Blass association with cricket onto another level.

"Our Five sponsorship will form part of an integrated campaign for Wolf Blass around cricket this summer and will reach around 14million viewers. Wolf Blass is a top 10 brand in the UK wine market and we'll be working with customers across the country to bring this campaign to life in-store and in outlet."
