Malbec blog launches

Published:  23 July, 2008

A new blog celebrating 500 years of Malbec tradition has been launched for web-savvy wine enthusiasts.

In recent years a number of popular blogs on the topic of wine have entered the public consciousness with offerings from the likes of Jancis Robinson and Jamie Goode proving to be particularly popular.

The new blog from Chteau Lagrzette is written by Alain-Dominique Perrin, the owner of Domaine de Lagrzett.

He explained the blog is designed to "tell our adventure, along vintages and seasons".

Chateau Lagrezette 2001 is listed in the Top 100 in the Wine Spectator and the Chteau is reputed to have been the first place to grow the Malbec grape-over 500 years ago.
