Fladgate take on new Quinta

The Fladgate Partnership has acquired Quinta da Eira Velha - another grade A 50 hectare property in the Douro bringing its total vineyard area to 800 ha.
The Quinta will add another 6,000 cases of wine to the company's portfolio, which includes Taylor's, Fonseca, Croft and Delaforce.
Adrian Bridge, managing director of The Fladgate Partnership, said; "Despite the number of growers (around 40,000), it's rare to find an estate of this quality and size on the market. So, when we were presented with the sale of Quinta da Eira Velha, we leapt at the opportunity."
