Wild Honey was last night voted the best new restaurant in London at Time Out's annual awards.
The award follows chef owner Antony Demetre's winning of a Michelin star for his first venue, Arbutus, in January (pictured, left, with co-owner Will Smith).
The restaurant beat off the redesigned Odette's in Belsize Park, St Alban from the former owners of The Ivy and part of a growing high-grade Itailan restaurant chain, Oliviomare.
The tiny Borough Market venue The Rake, with a vast list of beers was voted best bar. Oliver Peyton's National Dining Rooms won "Best British Restaurant".
Formerly the Conran group, now D&D, won the best design award for their Skylon restaurant in the Royal Festival Hall.
