New CEO for Threshers

Roger Whiteside has stepped down as chief executive of drinks retailer Thresher Group, and appointed Yvonne Rankin as his replacement.
Rankin leaves retailer A.S. Watson where she was responsible for 600 stores in central and southern Europe. She also headed up the restructuring of UK discount retailer Savers.
Scott Grenhalgh, managing director of Threshers' majority stake holder, Vision Capital, said: "Roger has steered the Thresher Group through a period of significant industry change and we thank him for providing a smooth transition to our ownership. We look forward to working with Yvonne Rankin in the next stage of Thresher Group's development".
