SA Government reviews regulation of the wine industry

Published:  23 July, 2008

AUSTRALIA: The South Australian Government has begun a review of how the SA wine industry is regulated.

The review was called for by the South Australian Wine Industry Council, amid concerns there is too much red-tape.

The State Competitiveness Council will conduct the review to identify practical steps to reduce bureaucratic delays.

Anyone involved in the industry is encouraged to make a submission to the council by the end of the month.

Submissions are due by COB Friday 28 September 28.

For more information please contact the Competitiveness Council Secretariat. Email: allan.joy@state.sa.gov.au or zoe.yu@state.sa.gov.au
