Gaymers announces 4 million campaign

Gaymer Cider Company has revealed that it will be investing 4 million in its key brand Gaymers Original this year.

The campaign, which will be launched on Monday, will continue to use the "As good as it gets" strapline, and will show that the product is best enjoyed over ice.

The adverts will uses images of "lazy Sunday afternoons with friends, a girls' night out and a night out with the lads," according to the company.

MD John Mills said: "Encouraging consumers to increase the number of occasions they associate with Gaymers Original has always been at the heart of our communication and we wanted this to come across in the advertising.

"We have a great-tasting product which has proved really popular with consumers and the trade. By highlighting the times and places where Gaymers original can be enjoyed, we achieve our objective of getting even more people to include the brand as part of their repertoire."
