The dispute between Halewood International and the group of Italian Lambrusco producers over the former's Lambrini brand has been resolved. After 11 months the two parties, Halewood, and the Consortia of Lambrusco producers of Modina and Reggio Emilia - along with other leading producers of Lambrusco - have settled out of court. Halewood will continue to use the Lambrini brand, but has undertaken to make changes to its labelling, to ensure that there will be no confusion between the wines. Lambrini Bianco claims to be the most popular sparkling Perry, with 49% of the market in March and April this year. Last year, sales in the UK totalled more than 40 million.
