Global whisk(e)y conference

Next year (21-22 April) will see Edinburgh host the inaugural World Whiskies Conference, which aims to provide a forum for the global whisky-distilling industry'.
Conference director Ian Buxton, former marketing director of Glenmorangie, said the conference's advisory panel includes representatives from Scotland, the USA, Thailand and Japan, and he wants the show to recognise the common challenges and opportunities faced by worldwide whisky distillers'.
