Kosher Food and Wine Experience London (KFWE) has announced that all things sparkling will be a key element of this year’s show for the first time.
Returning for its 15th year, KFWE London 2019 will feature “a multitude” of sparkling wines, Proseccos and Champagnes new to the event, which organiser Kedem Europe claims to be Europe’s largest kosher wine tasting.
The new focus on fizz, which will also include some sweet sparkling wines, had been introduced to tap the popularity of bubbles across the globe, said general manager Benjamin Gestetner.
“Sparkling wine is now very fashionable all over the world and at this year’s show we will be taking the opportunity to showcase the huge range of kosher sparkling wines being produced in America, France, Italy and Spain,” he said.
There would also be a “huge selection” of vegan wines at this year’s event, including wines by Flam, Barkan Winery and Segal’s from Israel; Celler de Capçanes, Elvi Winery from Spain and Herzog Wine Cellars from California, he added.
In addition, the tasting will feature a whisky tasting with ambassadors from Tomintoul and Glencadam distilleries.
“We really want people to experience everything there is out there,” said Gestetner, adding the tasting would showcase wines from France, Italy, Israel, Spain, Argentina, Chile, America, Australia and New Zealand.
KFWE London 2019 will take place on 6 February 2019 at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane.
