Palmers Wine Store: Managerial Role

Palmers Wine Store is a busy independent wine merchant located in Bridport, Dorset, part of Palmers Brewery, a fourth generation family brewery that has been in continual operation since 1794.

Working alongside the Manager the position includes but is not limited to: buying for the Wine Store and managing its range of over 1000 wines & spirits, overseeing stock control, organising and hosting tastings and developing sales both in-store, online and with select on-trade customers.

The position will suit someone with experience in either the wine industry or more general retail. The ideal candidate will be competent or have some experience in: IT, Social Media, Business Marketing, Design and Online Marketing. A love of wine and real ale, and a desire to pursue a career in the wine trade is essential.

Work Type:

40 hours per week

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.

Full driving licence.
