Spaghetti House
15 Goodge Street, Fitzrovia, W1T 2PQ
020 7636 6582
The first Spaghetti House restaurant to open in London's Fitzrovia in 1955 has reopened after refurbishment. Offering dawn-to-dusk eating seven days a week, it aims to provide "choice, innovation and value under one roof". Breakfast is served from 7am, with baked croissants with Nutella or Provolone or Roma tomatoes, through to brunch, followed by lighter afternoon bites and a full à la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Of course, we can't forget its speciality spaghetti Bolognese (£9.95). The family-owned business, which owns 12 restaurants, has paid homage to the history and heritage of the original house, with each floor recreating the style and feel of a different room. On the ground floor La Cucina (the kitchen) is at the heart of the four floor restaurant.
