Premium gin brand Pinkster is hoping to continue the premium gifting trend beyond Christmas and into Valentine's Day with the release of its first ever limited edition bottle.
With the strapline 'Let the love beGin', the bottle will contain the brand's signature pink-coloured gin but in a new bespoke bottle aimed at the market in the run up to February 14.
"As a pink gin, we felt it was high time we wore our heart on our sleeves and created something slightly quirky," Will Holt, marketing director at Pinkster, said.
"Valentine's is a huge gifting opportunity, so we're confident this eye-catching bottle will raise a smile and encourage romantic shoppers to stay fruity and look beyond choccies, roses and so forth.
Pinkster has also introduced its first gift packaging, designed for both the limited edition and regular 70cl bottles, which will be available at the end of January.
Produced with fresh raspberries grown locally to the company's HQ outside Cambridge, Pinkster has recently gained a nationwide listing with Matthew Clark across all its UK depots.
"On the back of brisk Christmas trading, it's a real fillip to have secured a main listing with Matthew Clark alongside our existing wholesalers. Last year's £1 million crowdfunding financing last has allowed us to accelerate business growth and we're all set for an upbeat 2017 as the raspberry revolution gathers momentum," Holt added.
The limited edition bottle's (70cl) RRP is £35.
