Château Castera is situated in the heart of the Medoc and is one of Bordeaux's oldest estates. Its wines have won numerous awards from Decanter, the International Wine Challenge and elsewhere.
Borough Wines began life as a stall in Borough market in 2002. It now has five stores across London in Hackney, Stoke Newington, Dalston, Kensal Rise and Clerkenwell.
It won the Best Independent Wine Merchant of the Year (more than three stores) at the Harpers Wine and Spirits Awards 2015, announced in September.
It recently opened its first venture outside the capital. The Borough Wines, Beers and Books shop opened in Hastings, East Sussex at the end of August.
Borough Wines also operates a wholesale arm, Expression du Terroir, which supplies wines to the on-trade as well as other independent retailers.
Its primary focus is on French wines from Bordeaux, the Loire and the Languedoc, but it also distributes wines from Italy, Spain, Portugal and Hungary.
