Rude Wines has launched a "revealing" new TV campaign on YouTube in order to get the word out about its new business, which launched in May.
To help get across the message that its new website is aimed at demystifying wine, and telling the naked and rudimental truths about wine, it features a naked man walking nonchalantly through a vineyerd, his modesty protected only by careful camera cropping and a subtly placed bottle of wine.
The company has been set up by Tony Killeen, an entrepreneur from Herefordshire, and its management team consists of Marc Fronte, managing director, Deborah Guest, sales director, and Gerald Duff, head of buying.
Fronte said: "Wine buying has become unknowingly complex for the man on the street. Constant fake discounting and clever marketing means that many of us are drinking what we think are good value wines, which really aren't. We want to make choosing and buying wine fun and relaxing as well as sharing our vast wine knowledge."
