SLOVENIAN WINES PUSH BY AVE

Importer AVE United Kingdom has launched a six-week Slovenian Wine Promotion in conjunction with Wine Wharf, Vinopolis and Cantina Vinopolis. From 4 August six wines from leading Slovenian producers Edi Simcic and Movia will be available to buy by the glass in Cantina Vinopolis and the Wine Wharf; while the 2001 Simcic Trojka and 1998 Movia Veliko Belo will be featured on the premium table in the Vinopolis Tour. Trevor Gulliver of Vinopolis said: Slovenia, as a country of origin for wine, is a difficult concept to push, but after my trip there it's clear that the personalities involved and the wines they produce warrant very close attention.'
