English Wine Producers has revamped its branding and logo, showing a newer, cleaner look and a new strapline: Promoting the Fine Wines of England.

The freshness of the English landscape is the concept it is aiming for, with crisp, elegant lines to represent a modern industry and a nod to England through the splash of red of a rose.

The logo resembles a seal of assurance, or quality, indicative of the fact that EWP members are the trailblazers of the industry, and comes on the back of the announcement its hectarage production is now the highest ever recorded, showing a rise of more than 60% in the past five years.

The collective message is one of quality and consistency in its wines. Julia Trustram Eve, marketing director of English Wine Producers, says: "EWP's role is to support its members and the logo reflects this. We've gone for understated elegance - just like the wines we work with."

A further logo has been designed around the words Celebrate with English Wine - in order to communicate the message about English wines to the consumer on the back of the Jubilee and Olympics.

A new EWP website will soon be completed and will go live in the near future.
