The rejuvenated radio presenter Tony Blackburn has become the new face of Wine Relief', the Comic Relief initiative which uses wine sales to boost the charity's coffers. Blackburn's face will appear on special wine collarettes and shop displays from the launch of the campaign on 7 February right through to the day itself, 14 March. The Comic Relief initiative sees 10% of the price of selected wines going directly to the charity, with all of the multiple grocers and retailers now involved. Blackburn said: As a red wine lover I am delighted to be involved in Wine Relief. It really is the best way of squeezing every last drop of value out of precious grapes.' Blackburn has also urged people to call his special Wine Relief Wine Line' and vote for which they prefer: red or white wine. Last year's Wine Relief raised 350,000.
