Fladgate releases single quinta ports

The Fladgate Partnership used St George's Day to announce the release of its 2008 single quintas from Taylor's, Croft and Fonseca.
They include Vargellas and Terra Feita for Taylor's, Panascal and Guimaraens for Fonseca, and Croft's Roêda.
Managing director, Adrian Bridge, said: "The 2008 harvest produced some extraordinary ports at our estates. They show impressive density and concentration and distinctive terroir character. The 2008s from Vargellas and Terra Feita show the incredible potential of these great historic estates. They promise to deliver excellent value to both consumers and collectors."
Cask samples of the 2008s, will be available to taste for the first time at the London International Wine Fair.
