Greek drinks distributor Amvyx has taken on the agency for Russian Standard vodka in its market.
The deal plugs a gap left by the exit of Absolut, which Amvyx handled until Jan 2 when the rights switched in-house to Pernod Ricard Hellas.
Amvyx ceo Isidore Revah said: "We strongly believe that Russian Standard will change the white spirits market in Greece and will contribute greatly to the further enhancement of our portfolio."
Chris Lucas, Russian Standard's ceo for Western Europe, added: "We have ambitious plans for the development of Russian Standard in Greece.
"We are certain that with the collaboration of Amvyx Russian standard will become the leading premium vodka brand in the country."
Amvyx bought the Serkova vodka brand from Pernod Ricard earlier this week.
