Fine wine merchant Justerini & Brooks has announced its chairman will retire in December after 40 years with the company.
Edward Demery played a major part in J&B's move into Asia in the 1980s and went on to become managing director in 1993 before taking up the chaimanship in 2002.
His replacement is "subject to a future announcement", said a J&B spokesman.
Nick Hyde, current MD, said: "Edward's encouragement of a new generation of Justerini & Brooks staff has been unstinting and I'm delighted that Edward has every intention of remaining a passionate ambassador for us following his retirement."
