SPIER SPONSORS VOICES FOR JUSTICE

Spier Wines, from South Africa, recently supported Voices For Justice, the annual dinner organised by Human Rights Watch to honour international human rights activists. Among them was Abdul Tejan-Cole (pictured above with Bianca Jagger, a supporter of Human Rights Watch), the leading human rights campaigner for Sierra Leone, who was honoured at the dinner. Spier also oversees a social development project which, it claims, is regarded by many as a integral part of the Spier business plan involves an annual arts festival, an important community event in an era of dwindling government funding for the arts in South Africa.
