Zonin1821 UK announces major investment in low and no-alcohol segment

Published:  19 January, 2026

Multinational wine brand Zonin1821 has unveiled plans to step up its focus on category innovation in 2026, with new launches designed to capture a slice of the increasingly lucrative low and no-alcohol market.

Central to its plans is the launch of Zonin Early Harvest, a new range of ‘naturally lower-alcohol wines’ tapping into a growing desire for moderation.

The range will debut with two wines – Pinot Grigio Early Harvest and Pinot Nero Early Harvest, both sourced from Pavia IGT and bottled at 9% ABV.

According to the firm, the wines are made from early-harvested grapes, resulting in fresher, more aromatic styles. Both labels will carry an RRP of £9.80, available to retail and hospitality customers.

Meanwhile, the growth in alternative formats has also caught the eye of Zonin1821. This year, the brand will introduce a 250ml canned version of Limeneto Spritz, previously launched in bottle format in 2024.

Simon Thomas (pictured), Zonin1821’s MD in the UK, commented: "The launch of our new range of naturally lower-alcohol wines, alongside our investment into new formats, marks a pivotal moment for Zonin1821 in the UK. At a time when our industry faces considerable challenges, with shifting consumer preferences and economic uncertainties, agility in responding to market demands is essential.

"With these new launches we aim to broaden the appeal of wine and meet the demands of what is an increasingly diverse and health aware audience.

The new products will be available to taste at the company's annual UK portfolio tasting on Thursday 27 January, at Haberdashers' Hall in London.
