Navarra targets UK with new consumer and trade campaign

Spain's Navarra region is launching a new trade and consumer campaign in the UK this autumn, run in collaboration with PR firm Bespoke Drinks Media.

The PR campaign, which will run through to spring 2022, will focus on raising awareness via social media channels, using trade and consumer influencers to excite and educate about recent developments from the region.

According to Bespoke Drinks Media, the project will run from September 2021 to April 2022, encompassing extensive PR activity combined with wine influencer promotions and on-trade education.

Javier Santafe, manager at Navarra's Consejo Regulador commented: “We are delighted to be back in the UK, a market that has always been essential to our region.”

He added: “Navarran producers have so much to talk about and exciting developments to reveal. This campaign is designed to speak directly to key points of influence in the market and excite the trade’s interest and palate about our wines.”

Situated in northeastern Spain, Navarra is one of the few Spanish vineyards that has wholeheartedly embraced international varieties alongside its rollcall of indigenous grapes, with Garnacha and rosado prominent in its diverse offer.
