Wine bar and restaurant Vinoteca has announced plans to launch in Birmingham, marking the five-strong chain’s first outlet outside the capital.
Poised to be located within Paradise Birmingham, the wine bar and restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, with an expected opening date in early 2020.
Up to 25 wines will be available by the glass with up to 200 bottles on the full list.
‘Paradise’ offered Vinoteca an “unbeatable location and commercial proposition” right in the heart of Birmingham, said Charlie Young, co-founder of Vinoteca
“With 200 wines on offer and authentic British and European dishes with regularly changing specials curated by top chefs, we look forward to bringing something different to Birmingham’s rapidly growing dining and bar scene.”
Vinoteca currently operates five sites across central London in locations such as Marylebone, King’s Cross and the City.
Inspired by the wine bars of Spain and Italy, Vinoteca serves simple yet imaginative food with a regularly changing menu paired with characterful wine, for visitors to drink in or browse the wine shop.
